What you will need
Nothing to start a listing beyond photographs and a price. To complete a sale and transfer the bike legally, a buyer will expect:
- Your ID and proof of residence
- The registration certificate for the bike
- A settlement letter, if there is still finance on it
- Service history, if you have it — it is worth real money at the negotiation
- A roadworthy certificate, which the buyer needs to register it in their name

How much does it cost to sell my bike here?
Nothing. Listing is free and stays free for the 60 days your advert runs. We take no commission on the sale because we are not part of it — the buyer deals with you directly. Paid boosts exist if you want to move up the results, but an overpriced bike does not sell faster for R99.
Do I have to create an account?
For the valuation, no. To publish a listing, yes — it is how you edit your price later, mark the bike sold and see your enquiries in one place. It takes a minute and costs nothing.
How many photographs should I add?
Six minimum, and you can add up to twenty. Both sides, front, back, the dash showing the mileage, and any damage. Photograph the damage. Buyers find it anyway, and it costs you the sale when they do.
How do I avoid the usual scams?
Never release the bike or the papers before the money is genuinely in your account — not a screenshot of a transfer, not a pending EFT. Meet in daylight in a public place, and be wary of anyone who wants to arrange courier collection and pay above the asking price. If something feels off, tell us and we will look at the account.
